I was out back of the property today clearing some old trails and caught a couple of small blacktails running around. Their coats look pretty mangy. One doe and two fawns. One of the fawns is a small buck. I had a lot better look at them but by the time I found the camera, they were a little harder to get a good picture of them. I hope to be able to see some bigger bucks!

He has some good width going for a forky.  Will we be seeing him on Bone's Super Forky thread this fall?

Nice!  I had 5 little bucks (one is going to be a fairly decent 3 pt) in my back pasture yesterday.  All but one wandered off over the fence as I went into the house to get my camera.  One little guy stayed around for almost an hour while I cleaned up out house/job site.  I was throwing, burning and stacking lumber and generally being noisy and it didnt bother him a bit.  I think that they all know that they are safe on my land.  The same group of bucks was in my garden last fall and it had to literally chase them out.  The kids love our "pet" deer and sometimes elk.

The deer came through again yesterday. The first picture is of a very young buck. The second picture is from a few years ago of a buck that wouldn't show himself until the legal season was over. I'm hoping to catch a few new photos this year of a few like him. We have two or three consecutive years of pictures of this guy! It is fun to see how they mature.

Here is a little guy my wife and I saw last night.  He is goofy looking.  He is a 3x nub his right side has no apparent damage, I is about 2'' high and is pretty thick.
